Obverse: Germania as a robed figure, bust left. Inscription: GERMANIA A.D. 1919-1921. Esseö's mark at nape of neck.

Reverse: Germany personified as Germania female figure being crucified on a cross while standing on the German crest. Armed bands of armies stand at sides. "OPUS ESSOE" is inscribed under her hands. Esseo mark to the right of the German crest.

Von Esseö's allegorical view of the resulting reparations against Germany as well as the armed occupation to extract those reparations.
